Repeller

Repellers are unique blocks that can be used to 'repel' most mobs and projectiles away from a shield area around where it is placed.

1 Cragrock + 2 Weedwood Sticks + 1 Green Dentrothyst Vial = 1 Repeller

How to Use

The Repeller requires a Shimmerstone to function, and can be given one by pressing the 'use' key, giving it a glowing effect; the Shimmerstone can also be removed with the 'sneak' + 'use' keys. With the Shimmerstone inside, the Repeller can be given Byariis Aspect Vials to use as fuel with the 'use' key. It will then immediately generate a shield around itself, approximately a radius of 4 blocks. The shield's size can be configured by pressing the 'use' key on the Repeller with an empty hand. It can be expanded to three other sizes: radii of about 8, 12, and 17 respectively.

Mobs and projectiles that attempt to cross through the shield are blocked, but players are not. The rate of fuel consumption increases with a larger radius and with more mobs trying to cross the shield, and the Repeller must therefore be fueled again after a while. While the shield is up the Repeller will also emit particles that outline the shield's borders, and the shield itself has a wavy effect and cycles between green and blue colors.

The shield does not work against Wights and bosses.
